GearAudition compressors
Clips were recorded in 24bits 44.1kHz format, then dithered to 16bits 44.1kHz using R8brain pro, and finally compressed to 360kbits VBR format using LAME mp3 encoder.
Signal chain
A Drum Kit From Hell Superior pattern sample with overhead outputs was passed through different compressors, using the same three settings
(light, medium and heavy).
Signal chain;
-Software: Cubase SX4 > Overhead drums sample > Compressor > Cubase SX4.
-Harware: Cubase SX4 > Overhead drums sample > echo Layla outputs > Compressor > echo Layla inputs > Cubase SX4

Note: The following compressors have different parameters, they were adjusted by ear, as close as possible to the settings.

No Fx, other then compression, has been added.
